Obituary of Zoey Danielle Atkisson

Childersburg, AL. – Zoey Danielle Atkisson, 17, passed away July 6, 2021. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday July 12, at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega. A visitation for extended family and friends will be from 5 until 7 p.m., Sunday, July 11 also at Usrey Funeral Home. Zoey was sassy, classy and somewhat of a smart aleck, she loved laughing, joking and poking fun. She had so many friends too numerous to name, she was full of life, her sibling’s keeper, a light, a ray of sunshine, she had the biggest heart and loved with its entirety. She is survived by her mother, Candice Atkisson; her father, Brandon Gable (Cassy); her sister’s, Emma Gable and Ella Gable; her brother, Major Gable; her grandparent’s, Kathy Roberson (Noah Foster), Delissa Sims, Deborah Jackson (Bob); her uncle’s, Bobby Gable (Becky), Cory Gable (Carrie) and Bobby Atkisson, Jr. (Leslie); her great-grandmother’s, Myrtle Peoples and Mary Samuels; her cousin’s, Barbara Graben (Dakota), Cathryn Pitts (Andrew), Michael Gable, Savannah Gable, Tuffer Gable, Bryce Pitts and Aryia Pitts and a host of extended family and friends. Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Bobby Atkisson, Sr., Billy Joe Gable, Darrell Dison; her great-grandmother’s, Bonnie Jenkins, and Joyce Klinner; her great-grandfather’s, Harold Klinner and Floyd Peoples, and her sister, Hailey Faith Gable. Pallbearers will be Bobby Atkisson, Jr., Bobby Gable, Cory Gable, Michael Gable and Major Gable.
