Obituary of Faye Eason

Talladega – Frances Faye Eason, 87, passed away peacefully at home June 22, 2021. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 24 at Usrey Funeral Home with George Bishop officiating. A visitation for extended family and friends will be for one hour prior to the service also at Usrey.
Mrs. Eason was a member of Bemiston Baptist Church and had been retired from AIDB since 1991. She enjoyed her flowers and yard work immensely and especially visits from her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Anita E. Mitchell (Donald) of Lincoln, AL.; her brother’s, Buford Gilliam (Judith) of Talladega and Joe Gilliam also of Talladega; her grandchildren, Jeremy Hardy (Cayla), Chase Mitchell (Crystal); great-grandchildren, Izabella Hardy, Adaleigh Hardy, Luke Mitchell and Hudson Mitchell.
Preceding her in death was her husband of 60 years, Bob Eason; her son, Thomas Anthony Eason and her brother’s, Brack Gilliam and Farrell Gilliam.
Those to serve as pallbearers will be Ronald Snyder, Dennis Gilliam, Darrin Gilliam, Brack Gilliam, Jr., Sammy Gilliam and Todd Fulmer.
Rick Dillard will be an honorary pallbearer.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful caregivers and New Beacon hospice employees who have shown loving care in the past couple of weeks.
