Wallace Monroe Phillips, 89 of Talladega passed away May 29, 2021. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday June 2, 2021, at Pine Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Johnny Jones will officiate the service. His family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home from 12:30-1:30 pm Wednesday.
Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife of 69 years Billie Sue Phillips, son Wallace Stevan Phillips (Doris Jean), daughter-in-law Tammie Phillips, son-in-law Kevin Reeves, grandson Jason S. Phillips (Amanda), three grand-daughters Tami Browning (Kevin), Brittany Haynes (Aaron), Lisa Phillips (Casey Cates), great-grandchildren, Kaylee Phillips (Eric Moses), Aidan Browning, Saylor Haynes, great -great grandchild Grayson Moses, sister Edna Wheeler, and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sons Mitchell Ray Phillips and Billy Gene (Pete) Phillips, daughter Sara Phillips Reeves, parents Walter and Helen Phillips four brothers and four sisters.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jason Phillips, Casey Cates, Eric Moses, Phil Wheeler, Aaron Haynes, Kevin Browning, Kevin Reeves.
Usrey Funeral Home Talladega will direct services.
