Obituary of John Walter Arnold

Talladega – John Walter Arnold, 62, passed away May 11, 2021. A graveside service for Mr. Arnold will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Midway Memory Gardens in Talladega with Larry Mitchell officiating. John was a native of Talladega. He was known as an all around “good guy”. He was so caring and compassionate toward his family and “if you met him, you liked him”. He worked as a diesel mechanic in Birmingham at HPH Mechanical and was one of the best diesel mechanics in all of Birmingham. He is survived by his mother, Doris C. Arnold; his sister, Shelly Johnson of Minnetonka, Minn.; his brother, Jeffrey Arnold of Talladega; his nieces, Kimberly Arnold, Wendy Arnold, Jessica Arnold, Crystal Arnold, Abigail Miller and Katie Johnson; his nephews, Jeremy Arnold, Andrew Arnold and Richie Johnson. Preceding him in death were his father, James Lawson Arnold, and his brother’s, Jimmy Arnold and Jesse Arnold. Pallbearers will be Mike Arnold, Josh Arnold, Coy Arnold, Nicolas Arnold and Neal Arnold. Jeremy Arnold will be an honorary pallbearer.
