Obituary of Frances Moore Vincent

Frances Moore Vincent was called to be with her Lord and Savior on April 27, 2021, two weeks short of her 100th birthday. She passed away peacefully at her home in Pell City "Eden", Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hayden Vincent, and daughter, Florence Crainie. She is survived by her son, James Durwood Vincent (Margit) of Westminster, GA, and daughters, Carolyn Vincent Anderson (Lloyd "Andy" Anderson), of Fremont, CA, and Olivia Faye Vincent of Pell City, AL. She will be missed by her 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
Frances was a resident of Talladega for 59 years where she was an active charter member of Southwood Presbyterian Church. For many years she enjoyed working as a bookkeeper at Shocco Springs and after 17 years retired from there. She moved to Eden in 2006 and was very active at the Pell City Senior Center where she mastered line dancing. She was also an avid reader, and she loved the Pell City library where she spent a lot of time.
Fran touched many lives and was loved by those who met her. She was a blessing to her entire family. There will be a Memorial Service held at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City, AL,, on May 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to Compassus Hospice, 1735 Highway 77, Southside, AL 35907.
