Rosie Mae Green, 87 of Talladega, AL, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Citizens BMC. Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega, AL with Kevin Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mrs. Green was a native of Coosa County and a resident of Talladega for most of her life. She worked for Bemiston Cotton Mill and later enjoyed being a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Martha Roberson and husband of 68 years, Milford H. Green.
Mrs. Green is survived by her children, Linda Faye Green Allen (Boyd), Roy Ray Green (Labreeska), Gloria Jean Green Rainey (Don), Mike Green, Patricia Diane Green Ryder, Jeffrey Waymon Green (Sandi), Milford Jason Green (Christy); 15 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lily Kate Stewart, Mary Frances Maynard; brother, Thomas Jackson Roberson and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Zachary Green, Braxton Green, Brent Green, Trey Cotton, Kevin Rainey, and Brian Bussie.
Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing services.
