Mrs. Belvia Maxine Higgins, 86, of Pell City, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on April 15, 2021.
Mrs. Higgins was a lifelong member of Mineral Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Rilla Peoples; and by her brothers, J.D. Peoples and Frank Peoples.
She is survived by her daughter, Christine Conant (Rick); grandchildren, James Conant (Andrea), Becky Groves (Adam), Christopher Conant (Shawna) and Tony Cox (Karen); great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Aubrey, Haden and Levi Groves, and Evie Conant; sisters-in-law, Patricia Peoples and Nancy Peoples.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday ,April 17, 2021 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with Pastor David Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
Visitation will be Saturday from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Dr. Dupree and the staff of Northside Medical and also the staff of Compassus Hospice.
