Obituary of Helen Landreth Bussie

Mrs. Helen Landreth Bussie, 88, of Talladega passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her residence. Graveside service will be 11:00 am, Friday, April 2, 2021 at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Jeff Rutledge will officiate the service. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 am, Friday, at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Helen was a lifelong resident of Talladega, AL and was owner/operator of Bussie Oil Company. She was a member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and attended Grace Community Church. Mrs. Bussie is preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Bussie; parents, Eugene B. and Reba Hare Landreth; and sister, Betty Carlan. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Howard and Peggy, Wallace and Debbie, Glenn and Teresa, and Brent and Stephanie Bussie; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Brian Bussie, Jared Bussie, Bryer Bussie, Brody Bussie, Braxton Bussie, Barrett Bussie, Jacob Pounders and Owen O’Connor. Her family would like to thank Alabama Hospice Care, Vivian Kennedy, Vanessa Wallace and her friends at Presbyterian Oaks. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to AIDB Foundation, P.O.
