Mrs. Fumiko Muranaka Phillips, 89, of Ragland, Alabama passed away on March 19, 2021.
Mrs. Phillips was a member of Gray's Chapel Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bunza and Yaeko Muranaka; and her husband, Robert E. Phillips.
She is survived by her daughter, Robin Phillips Fielder; grandchildren, Seth Ulrich, Mikal Ulrich and Zachary Christopher; great-grandchildren, Preslie, Juliette and John-Luke; sisters, Hisano Fukushima, Takiko Muranaka and Akiyo Welsh; brother, Minoru Muranaka; several nieces and nephews here in the US and in Japan; and her sister-in-law, Barbara Gutherie.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Ragland Methodist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Foundation.
