Obituary of Lula Mae Taylor

Lula Mae Taylor,87 of Talladega passed away March 6, 2021. Graveside services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday March 9, 2021 at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Glen Horn will officiate the service. Her family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 at Usrey Funeral Home on Tuesday. She was a longtime resident of a Talladega, member of Immanuel Baptist Church and attended Bemiston United Methodist Church. She was retired from Palm Beach. She loved her kids, grandkids, great-grandkids and loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband Alfred C. Taylor, parents Samuel and Maebelle Williams and brother Howard Williams. She is survived by her children, Jean Davis (Roger), Wayne Taylor (Amanda), Sammy Taylor (Donna), grandchildren, Rosemary Atkinson, Jeremy Taylor, Lee Ellen Kimsey, Casey Goldman, Zeb Taylor and Kendyl Taylor, 5 great-grandchildren, sister Josie Williams and brother Bo Williams (Judy) and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Zeb Taylor, Jeremy Taylor, Michael Goldman, Keith Williams, Kyle Kimsey, and Trae Williams. Honorary pallbearers Rip Williams and Johnnie Atkinson. Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct.
