Obituary of Terry Glenn Fowler

A Memorial Service for Terry Fowler, age 78, will be held on May 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Cropwell Baptist Church, Pell City, Alabama. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the church. Terry was born in Calhoun County, Alabama and moved to Gadsden as a child. He served in the U.S. Army, and spent most of his adult life working in industrial maintenance. He is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Carol Smith Fowler, formerly of Gadsden; 2 sons, Phillip (wife Tura) and Geof (wife Lee); 4 grandsons, Zac Taylor, Zack, Cade and Beckett Fowler; 4 brothers, Doyce, Roger, Danny and David; and 2 sisters, Jan Schaefer and Cathy Palmer. He is preceded in death by his mother, Ozell Robinson; brother, Douglas Robinson; nephew, Wesley Palmer; and niece, DeeDee Holman. Terry enjoyed traveling and surprised his wife, Carol, with a trip to Greece and Ephesus, Turkey for her 50th birthday. He also enjoyed camping trips across the United States.
