John Henry Murner Sr., 81 of Talladega Passed away February 12,2021. Graveside service will be held 2:00pm Tuesday February 16,2021 at Dry Valley Baptist Church Cemetery. His family will receive friends Tuesday at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega from 12:30-1:30. Anthony Soles will officiate the service.
He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley Murner, son John Murner, parents James and Nona Murner, sisters Elizabeth Ann Haynes, Clara Coppock and brother Larry Murner.
He is survived by his children Faye Murner, Patricia Mullinax, Timothy Murner, David Murner (Holly), Sherry Hambric (Marty), grandchildren Nicholas Goodwin, Jeffery Goodwin (Ashlei Spearman), Blake Mullinax (Emily), Briana Mullinax, Shelby Murner, Beatrice Murner, Juliana Murner, Crimson Hambric and Cierra Hambric, great-grandchildren Rily Goodwin, Harper Goodwin, Kannon Mullinax and Noah Poole, host of nieces and nephews the Family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for helping with Mr. Murner during his illness. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Goodwin, Blake Mullinax, Jeffery Goodwin, Marty Hambric, Tommy Mullinax and Nick Ingram. Usrey Funeral Home Talladega will direct.
