Obituary of Lydia Josephine Lipham

Mrs. Lydia Josephine “Jo” Lipham, 72, of Oxford, Alabama passed away on February 13, 2021. Jo was retired from Anniston Army Depot. She was a member of Meadowbrook Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. She dearly loved her friends and family and was a beloved Nana to her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Lipham, and by her parents, Ruben and Euline Hammonds. She is survived by her daughter, Christy Ginn (Shannon); stepdaughter, Rita Lipham; and grandchildren, Connor Hamlin, Cheyenne Lipham, Hayden Ginn, Faith Ginn, and Riley Ginn. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 16, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Oxford. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, at Meadowbrook Baptist Church with Bro. Trull Hill officiating. Interment will follow at Oxford Memorial Gardens.
