Obituary of Virginia Lee Haynes

Lincoln – Virginia Lee Haynes, 91, passed away February 8, 2021. A graveside service for her will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Dry Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Lincoln with Jacky Morgan and Stanley Jett officiating. She was a native and lifelong resident of Lincoln, AL. and a member of Dry Valley Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and vacation bible school. Virginia was retired from Wal-Mart. Her survivors include her daughter’s, Gina Vee Rice and Cynthia Haynes (Randy Champion) and her son, Danny R. Haynes; her grandchildren, J. R. Haynes (Angel), Christa Haynes Lackey and Chad Rice (Mandy); she is also survived by eight great-grandchildren. The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to all of her caregivers and hospice nurses. Those to serve as pallbearers will be Chad Rice, J. R. Haynes, Frankie Calhoun, Tyler Calhoun, Leonard Johnson and Jacob Johnson. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Dry Valley Cemetery Fund, 1603 N. County Rd. 399, Lincoln, AL. 35096.
