Obituary of Elinor Jane Knight

Funeral services for Mrs. Elinor Knight 90 of Talladega will be Thursday February 4, 2021, Usrey Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm, with Mark Deason officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 pm prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Dry Valley Baptist Cemetery.
Mrs. Knight is survived by two sons: Barry Knight (Debbie), Terry Knight (Venus), and one daughter: Janet Miers (Richard), numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Mrs. Knight was preceded in death by her husband Herman Knight, daughter Karen Dean, great grandson Dajaun Cech, parents Richard and Vista Champion, sister Maureen Rushing, and four brothers, Roy Champion, Phillip Champion, Robert Champion, and John Henry Champion.
Pallbearers will be Colby Knight, Braden Knight, Caleb Knight, Michael Miers, Austin Gunter, Eddie Miers, and Dawson Thornton.
Honorary pallbearer will be Adam Thornton.
Mrs. Knight was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County, retired from Crown Textile and a lifelong member of Dry Valley Baptist Church in Lincoln Al.
