Obituary of Shelton Gene Myrick

Mr. Shelton Gene Myrick, 64, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on January 28, 2021. Mr. Myrick was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the owner of Myrick Masonry. Shelton was a very generous person who helped many people. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman Conrad Myrick and Mary Joe Ledlow Myrick; his brother, Roger Dale Myrick; and brother-in-law, David Chapman. He is survived by his wife, Martha Faye Myrick; children, Rebecca Faye Chapman (Allen Castleberry) and Larry Ray Lambert; grandchildren, Carri LaShaye Howard (Travis Ray McKinney) and Robert Gene Howard (Brooklyn Brown); great-grandchildren, Austin Grady St.John, Jaxson Cash Howard,, Breyden Cole Howard, Hudson Kai McKinney, and Harper Faye McKinney; sisters, Sheila Chapman and Theresa Myrick The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with the Rev. Wayne Arnold officiating. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Robert Howard, Travis McKinney, Justin Armstrong, Ryan Armstrong, Nick Chapman and Ty Myrick. Condolences may be offered online at www.usreyfuneralhome.com.
