Talladega – Charles C. Buchanan Jr., 94, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021. Graveside service for Charles will be on Friday, January 29, 2021 at Hepzibah Baptist Cemetery at 2:00 pm with Randy Hagan officiating. Family will receive friends at Usrey Funeral Home on Friday from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
Charles was a resident of Talladega. He served in the Navy for two years and was a master electrician for thirty eight years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friends to many people.
He is survived by his three children, Charles C. Buchanan III, Carol F. Buchanan, James A. Buchanan; eleven grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Eula Mae Buchanan; son, Alan Buchanan, and four siblings.
