Obituary of Robert Glenn Graham, Sr.

Lincoln – Robert Glenn Graham, Sr., 83, passed away January 19, 2021. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Lincoln United Methodist Church with Jeff Ponder-Twardy officiating. His family will receive friends at Lincoln United Methodist beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Robert was a native of Lincoln, AL., he was very active in his church duties and served as the church treasurer, pianist and organist, he was a retired Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Army and a retired statistician and economics professor at Jacksonville State University. He was a Cub Scout leader and enjoyed playing golf and reading. His former students will remember him as “The Blade”. His survivors include his wife, Juliet Graham; his daughter, Julie Graham; his son, Bobby Graham; grandchildren, Rob Graham, Ashley Hammock (Chase); and his great-grandchildren, Madison Graham and Asher Hammock. Preceding him in death were his parent’s, Joseph Carl, Sr. and Lottie Graham; brothers, Carl Graham, Jr., Neil Graham; sisters, Nita Graham, Mary Jo Moore, Carolyn Bosworth and June Hudson. Those serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Clevenger, Johnny Badders, Robin Hudson, Corky Graham, James Grevas and Rob Graham. Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Finley, Rick Bosworth, Brian Bosworth and Greg Bosworth.
