Obituary of Lane "Willy" Taylor

Lane “Willy” Taylor, 51, of Munford, AL passed away at his residence January 18, 2021. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Ironaton Church of Christ with Rusty Stephens officiating. Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery.
“Willy” was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega County. He was retired from Anniston Army Depot and enjoyed farming.
He is survived by brothers, Alan Taylor (Linda), Blake Taylor (Donna), Sammy Haney (Jane), Mickey Haney (Susan); sisters, Teresa Harold, Revonda Stephens (Joe), Sharon Limbaugh; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by two sets of parents, June Bug and Helen Haney and Rayburn and Linda Taylor.
Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Blankenship, Mike Murner, Edwin Taylor, Josh Bishop, Cody Bishop, Chris Bullard and Members of Longhair Brothers of the Lodge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ribbon’s of Hope Foundation, 800 Shelton Shores Drive, Talladega, AL 35160.
Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega is directing services.
