Obituary of Eddie Elmore Parton

Anniston – Eddie Elmore Parton, 72, passed away January 13, 2021. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Luke Camara officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. prior to the service.
Eddie loved the Lord, his family and his country, he was an avid NASCAR, Alabama football and Dallas Cowboy fan. He served his country as a Marine and retired from the National Guard.
He is survived by his children Tammy Parton, Michael (Laurie) Parton, Tracy Bushey and Shelly (Donald) Bushey;brothers James M. Parton (Christine), Homer E. Parton (Martha),A. Wayne Parton, Roger D. Parton, and sister Gwen Mulligan (Eddie), eight grandchildren; countless friends and loved ones.
Preceding him in death were his “Darling” wife, Alice Faye Parton and his parents, Marvin and Pearl Parton.
His family would like to express a special “Thank You” to those who will be serving as pallbearers, Nathan Bushey Riley Bushey, Tommy Bushey, DeWayne Ferguson,Chris Wolfe, and Jeremy Wolfe.
