Obituary of Kenneth Ray Calhoun

Mr. Kenneth Ray Calhoun, 74, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on January 7, 2021.
Mr. Calhoun was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam war. He loved the outdoors, was an avid fan of Alabama football, and a business owner for thirty years. He was a little league baseball coach, Sunday School teacher, and mentor to many over the years.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Bryant and Kathy Dorough.
He is survived by his wife, Dianne Snow Calhoun; sons, Kenneth Ray Calhoun, Jr. (Angela) and Zane Calhoun (Kayla); grandchildren, MyKayla Johnson (Trey), Jamison Calhoun, Easton Calhoun, Ella-Kate Calhoun, and Emersyn Taylor Calhoun; sister, Barbara Bryant (Harold); brother, William Calhoun (Jessica); brothers-in-law, Ken Bryant and Charlie Dorough; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Calhoun was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild, Keegan Lucille Johnson (parents, MyKayla and Trey Johnson).
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with Rev. Jacky Connell and Rev. Chris Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at St. Clair Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends Monday, January 11, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
