Georgia Towery Layne, 90, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2020. Graveside service for Mrs. Layne will be Saturday, January 9, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Lanier’s Cemetery in Grasmere, AL.
Georgia was a native of Grasmere, AL. She has lived in Rome, GA for the past 60 years. She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church in Grasmere, AL.
She is survived by her two sons, Greg Layne (Judy), Mark Howard Layne (Stacey); daughter, Linda Hallman; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Layne is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Layne.
Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega will direct services.
