Talladega – Donald Ralph Wesson, 78, passed away December 29, 2020. A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Hepzibah Baptist Church Cemetery with Mike Gatch officiating. His family will have a visitation from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Usrey Funeral Home.
Donald was a native and lifelong resident of Talladega, he was also a lifelong member of Concord Methodist Church, his faith always came first. He adored his children and grandchildren and always loved having his family near. He will be remembered for his love for John Deere tractors.
Surviving him are his wife, Ann Wesson; sons, Andy Wesson (Christy) and Alan Wesson; his step-daughter, Brooke Chapman (Chris); his sister’s, Elaine Housh (John) and Sue Newman; his grandchildren, Drew Wesson, Kaylee Chapman, Abby Wesson and Caden Wesson.
Preceding him in death were his parent’s, Ralph and Louise Wesson.
Those serving as pallbearers are Andy Wesson, Alan Wesson, Shannon Newman, Drew Wesson, Chris Chapman and Mike Wesson.
