Obituary of James L. Swafford

James L. Swafford, 62 of Talladega passed away Saturday October 31, 2020. Funeral service will be held 6:30pm Tuesday November 3, 2020 at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel. His family will receive friends from 5:30-6:30 Tuesday at funeral home. He was lifelong resident of Munford and Talladega County, member of Troubadours of Munford High School. He work for Lee Brass for 17 years. He then completed his studies of Radiology Sciences where he received his Associate Degree. He was employed with Gadsden Regional Medical for over 25 years. He is survived by his wife Sandra Adams Swafford, daughter Roxanne Swafford, son Zachary Swafford, sisters Joy (Terry) Kelley, Diane Swafford, brother Roy (April) Swafford, grandson Jacob Swafford, father and mother-in law Roy and Wilma Adams, sister-in-law’s Marsha (James) Smith, Rhonda (Greg) Chappell, brother-in-law Tim (Krista) Adams and a host of nieces and nephews. Usrey Funeral Home Talladega will direct. In lieu of flowers family wishes for donations be made to Camp Smile A Mile or your favorite charity of your choice in his honor.
