Obituary of Elnora Whaley Moses

Funeral service for Elnora Whaley Moses, 99, of Talladega will be Saturday July 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm. At Usrey Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Bolt will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Her family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00-2:00 pm Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Mrs. Moses passed away July 15, 2014 at Talladega Health Care and Rehab. Mrs. Moses was a native of Wedowee, AL and lived in Anniston before moving to Talladega in 1985. She was a member of Cherry Street Church of God. She is preceded in death by her husband Grady Moses; sisters, Eunice Brown, Ruby Blevins, Eva Woods; brothers, Emory Hodge Whaley, Fred Orrie Whaley; great-granddaughter, Annalyn Katherine Herren. She is survived by her son, Lewis Vernon Moses (Sue); sister, Addie Mae Robinson; grandchildren, Gary Moses (Marie), Jeff Moses (Sonya), Todd Moses, Paige Herren (Kirk), Angie Barnes (Johnny), 10 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Gary Moses, Jeff Moses, Todd Moses, Kirk Herren, Johnny Barnes, and Josh Moses. Honorary pallbearers are William Merritt, Larry Barton, Wayne Miller, and Dr. Jimmy Davis.
