Obituary of Mary Martinez Chambers

Mary Martinez Chambers, 84, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020. Funeral Service for Mrs. Chambers will be on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home with visitation from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service. Interment will be at Midway Memory Gardens with Bill Wade officiating the service. Mrs. Chambers was a native of Oklahoma and has lived in Talladega since 1966. She was very well known for her cooking, her green thumb, and being a sweet lady. Mary is survived by her daughters, Anita Hutcherson, Benita Smith (Steven), Tracy Kerr (Lee), Tina Oglesby (Billy); brother, Raymond Martinez; thirteen grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Chambers; and son, Terry Mack Chambers.
