On Tuesday, September 8, 2020, John C. Logan II, loving father of four children, passed away at the age of 71. John was born September 11, 1948 in Albertville, Alabama. He attended Southern Tech of Marietta, Georgia. He worked for Lockheed Martin of Marietta, Georgia as a senior program analyst for 27 years. John is preceded in death by his father, John C. Logan Jr.; mother, Evelyn Goggans Logan. He is survived by his brother, H. Vann Logan; his four children, Debbie D. Walton (Greg), John C. Logan III (Laura), S. David Logan (Gwendolyn), and Michael P. Logan (Jennifer). He had eleven grandchildren: John L. Baird, Elizabeth N. Baird, John C. Logan IV, Ana I. Logan, Gabby N. Logan, Nicholas W. Logan, Samuel D. Logan, Parker R. Logan, Cooper A. Logan, and Henry D. Logan. John did not have just one hobby. He liked to do everything and he enjoyed life. Dad loved to go visit all of his kids. Once there, he was game to do and try anything. From Dollywood in Tennessee to Stone Mountain and Six Flags in Georgia. Williamsburg, Virginia had all the history museums that he loved to spend hours in. Dad also did not mind driving across county to see one of the grandsons graduate from Air Force Basic Training. Dad would do anything he could to help anyone of his children or his grandkids. Dad just enjoyed life. Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020, at 2:00pm with visitation before at Usrey Funeral Home from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
