I wish everyone could know what it’s like to work for a company led by such a fine Christian man as Gene Morris. A lot of us former Contel employees often talk about how special our work, work relationships and community involvement was back then. I believe it was Mr. Morris that set the example and the character of Contel, encouraging us to make a difference in positive ways throughout our community. I’ll always treasure those years, and I’m thankful for his strong, smart leadership mixed with kindness and a unique sense of humor. Well done, sir. Thank you.
