Talladega – Euel Gene Elders, 81, passed away August 25, 2020. A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 28, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Talladega with Scott Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the graveside at Usrey Funeral Home.
Euel was a native of Talladega. He was a providing and loving father who enjoyed life, having fun and playing cards with his friends.
Survivors include his daughter, Vicky Moore; sister, Doris McDaniel; brother, John Owen Elders; grandchildren, Kayla Elders, Brandi Williams, Adam Beard; great-grandchildren, Lillian and Devin.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert and Myrtle Elders; wife, Janice Elders; daughter, Tammy Martin; and multiple brothers and sisters.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Bridges, Nick Haney, Jeromy Taylor, Robert Green and Devorak Miller.
Those to serve as honorary pallbearers are Larry Bowman and Wes Smith.
