– Funeral for Margaret Spencer Pope were held Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home with Burial in Pine Hill Memorial Park. Kevin Jones officiated the service. She is survived by her sister, Jenny Dothard; and several nieces and nephews.
Margaret worked at Talladega County Board of Education and retired after 25 years. She retired from the State of Alabama. She worked for Campbell and Campbell Law in Montgomery before coming home in Talladega. She was a member of First United Methodist Church Talladega.
Margaret is preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Elon Pope; father and mother, Graves and Frances Spencer; sister, Frankie Forrest.
