Mr. Mel Kenneth Chapman, 76, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on July 6, 2020 in Birmingham.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin L. Chapman, Vivian Taylor and Mary Francis Chapman; and by a his sister, Beth Chapman.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Chapman; son, James (Ioma) Chapman; daughter, Kathy (Patrick) Treadwell; brothers, Jan (Sharon) Chapman, Ken (Rhonda) Chapman, Melvin (Judy) Chapman and M.L. (Melissa) Chapman; grandchildren, Will Treadwell, Christie Smith and Marcus Brasher; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday July 9, 2020 at St. Clair Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Vint Arnold officiating.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 9, 2020, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City.
