Obituary of Delores H. Morrow

Funeral service for Dolores H. Morrow of Talladega will be Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home Chapel of Talladega. Rev. Mike Irons will officiate and burial will be at Pine Hill Memorial Mausoleum. Her family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Morrow passed away June 27, 2014 at RMC. She was a native of Oxford and lived in Talladega since 1969. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was active in the choir and UMC women. She was a volunteer at Citizens BMC Auxiliary where she served as the Gift Shop Manager and a volunteer at the Red Door Kitchen. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Hoffmeyer and Sarah Hoffmeyer Benton. Her survivors include her husband, Bill Morrow, daughters, Angi Griffin (Donald Bishop), Sherry Thornton (Rodney), and Lori Mitchell (Elliott Upchurch), grandchildren, Will Thornton (Dottie), Clay Thornton (Amanda), Taylor McRae (Todd), and Sarah Mitchell, 3 great-grandchildren, and sister, Sara McDaniel (Albert). Pallbearers will be Will and Clay Thornton, Todd McRae, Josh Smith, Scott McDaniel, Rodney Thornton. Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Stephens, Albert McDaniel, Joe Wayne Ingram and Dennis Perkins. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Trinity United Methodist Church PO Box 578 Talladega, AL 35161.
