I remember this kind fella since i was a young girl. I remember seeing him each time we would go to a funeral. He was always so nice, kind and always gave a smile. The last time i talked to him i said you have been here a long time haven't you. And he grinned and laughed i said how long have you been here he grinned again. I said were you and moses were classmates weren't you and he just laughed .He said yeah I feel like i have been here that long. I remember the last time I was there i wondered where he was and i looked around for him so I could pick at him .Im sure he was around somewhere. I did not know he had died .We are so sorry for everyone's loss and everyone of ours too.

Linda and family. I am so sad to hear of Bill’s passing. I remember the Perry family from Wadley before you married. They were well known and respected. We haven’t seen each other much since high school, but I remember so many good times and will treasure the good memories. May God bless you in this time of sorrow and carry you through with His great mercy.

The Barksdale family was very close to the Perry family for many decades. Larry Barksdale and Bill spent many hours together at the skeet range, talking guns and hunting. His sons, Steve and Mike are friends with me to this day after 40 plus years. Our prayers and thoughts are with you from Larry, Fran, Allen and Todd Barksdale.

Jim and I send our love to the Perry family. Bill was a dear friend who had a wonderful sense of humor, a great eye for shooting and was a terrific dancer for those who could keep up with him. Living next door to my parents, the Christenberry’s, he was a tremendous help when my daddy died. Bill will be missed by many!

"Bill" was my classmate and Best Friend in School at Wadley. I always enjoyed visiting the Perry home and remember a number of visits to Cragford visiting his Grandmother. He will surely be missed but remembered with much respect. God Bless each of you in your sorrow.

I'm so sorry to hear about Bill. I first met him in 1983 when he served on the Board of Trustees at Talladega Federal Savings and Loan, where I worked for 8 years. I was very grateful for his support and encouragement of my career there and respected him so much. He was a wonderful man. He was always so friendly when Randy and I would run into him and never failed to ask how our family was and would also tell us about his grandchildren that he was so proud of. Randy and I thought a lot of him and will always remember him fondly. My prayers are with Linda and all of the family and friends during this difficult time. I know he will be greatly missed.

From the days of playing Little League at Harmon Park, one of my favorite phrases from Mr. Perry, “Coke ball.” Still use this phrase today when watching a game. Thank you Mr. Perry.

So very sorry to hear of your loss. Mr. Perry was one of the finest men I have ever met in my life. Growing up and being friends with Steve I always would see Mr. Perry and his family at the ball games. He was always very respectful to me and my family. I always looked up to him. I knew he was a fine man. I had a chance to work for him one summer. And I even gained more respect for him then. I saw what a great family he had and how successful he was. I wanted to grow up and be like that. He never even knew what a great impact he had on my life. I told him a few times when I would see him at funerals. But I don’t really think he knew how great a role model he was to so many. What a great leader. I feel proud to have known him. We are praying peace for all of Mr. Perry’s love ones. His legacy lives on thru all his beautiful family. What a man. Rest In Peace my friend. The Cardens
