Obituary of Stanley Wayne Johnson

Stanley Wayne Johnson, of Talladega Al. passed away March 28, 2020 at the age of 78. Wayne was a graduate of Talladega High School Class of 1959. Wayne served his country in the United States Air Force from 1962 to 1971. Serving a year in Thailand and then flying missions over Vietnam in B-52 Aircraft from the island of Guam in 1968 and 1969. Wayne was once called a Hero, but he always said “The real Heroes are still over there”. Wayne is survived by his Mother Emily Johnson, he is also survived by his chosen “Sisters” Elaine Wright, Janice Jordan, Diane Bailes and special “Granddaughter “ Blair Jordan Blizzard and many more Grands and Great-Grands. Wayne requested he be cremated and that his ashes be laid to rest at the Montevallo National Cemetery with Honors. There will not be any services held in Talladega.
