Funeral service for Jerry Scotty Tipton, 52 of Talladega, will be Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Jacky Morgan will officiate and burial will be in Providence Cemetery. His family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 pm at Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega.
Mr. Tipton passed away June 24, 2014 in Talladega.
He was a native of Talladega and a long time truck driver. He was a loving son, father and grandfather.
Scotty is survived by his children: Rachel Tipton, Ryan Darden (Joseph), and Hannah Mann (Josh), parents: Willie and Betty Tipton, grandchildren: Gabriel Darden, Jacob Hawkins, Lillian Darden and Alexis Tipton, brothers: Terry Wayne Tipton and Ray Rainey.
He is preceded in death by his sister: Joyce Ann Tipton.
