Sally and I were best of friends when I lived in Pell City (we were back in middle school). I lost touch with her over the years and just read today in 12/12 week's paper her obituary (for some odd reason I kept this old paper but just read today). I am beyond at a loss for words. I have so many memories of school days that turned into all weekend "stay overs" at each other's house. Her wonderful parents and her brother John (that was in high school at the time). If anyone could please fill me in on how to get in touch with her husband or children, and/or possibly what happened to such an awesome person that I will forever consider my best friend (especially all the memories we made in our early teenage years). We all know how we thought in middle school that every decision would be permanent.
I'm so sorry I was not there for her and her family during this time.
RIP Sally Mae!
Love you girl...

I have so many crazy fun memories with you, Sally. I cherish them! I love you and know you will be missed more than words can even explain. Thank you for always lending a helping hand to anyone that needed it and for loving us all. I'll see you again one day. Until then, keep watch over your sweet family and the rest of us.
