To the Thornell Family:
May the comfort from family and friends continue to strengthen you during this difficult time, and may you find comfort in the words found in the last book of the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

I want to send my sympathy to the family of Faye. I will always remember an event at Chestnut Creek Baptist Church, in Chilton County, Alabama several years ago, that I was fortunate enough to attend. Faye reminded me so much of my late Aunt Annie Laurie DeVaughn. Her voice was crystal clear that day, and my Aunt who passed away in 1970 had the same voice quality. When I told her my thoughts, she said that was one of the finest compliments she had ever received. Apparently Aunt Annie Laurie was one of her favorite singers when she was much younger. Faye will be sorely missed. I wish I could be able to come to the service, but living in North Georgia, I simply can not make it. I will keep her family in my thoughts and prayers.

Phillip and family you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God hold you close with peace, comfort and direction. May you find comfort that one day you will see her again, and now she is visiting those who have gone on before her with no pain, meds or illness. What a reunion she is having.
