There was nothing better than going to Granny's house and having homemade french fries and watermelon for dinner. I remember the walks down the dirt roads and making ourselves sick on crabapples and wild blackberries. I'm glad she got to meet my son (her great great grandson) and I have photos to show him as he gets older. He said that 98 was too young to die, but Granny lived a long, full life and will be missed dearly.
