Quinton Macon 90, of Talladega passed away at his home Monday June 16, 2014 surrounded by his loving wife, family and friends. Graveside services will be held Wednesday June 18 at 11:00 pm at Valley Hill Memorial Gardens. Quinton was born to Tommy and Nellie Mae Macon June 20, 1923, He was a member of Bethel U.M.C. Where he was on several committees, a member of Masonic Lodge #261 of Talladega. Quinton never met a stranger, He is survived by his loving wife Mary Virginia Macon, daughter Virginia Pettis (W.C.), stepson Johnny Wayne Trammell, 4 sisters Ira Belle Trucks, Dorothy ODell (John), Dean Dye and Brenda Ogle (Jim) a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Pallbearers will be Clint Pettis, Wayne Trucks, Thomas Newsome, Jimmy Barber, Ernie Arredondo and Coleton Arredondo, The Rev. Diane Housler will conduct the service and Rev. Frankie Sweeney will have closing prayer. In lieu of flowers donations to Bethel UMC or Lakeside Hospice in Pell City
