To Jay and Mrs.Debbie's family.. Words can not express how sorry I am to hear about her passing.. I think it hit me like a ton of bricks and I have not been able to stop thinking about her and how much she meant to me...
(unsure if I am even in the correct spot to be putting this.. so i will just type everything together at once)... I mean that more than most people could understand.. Her and Mr.Terry did so much for not only me.. But for my family.. My little brothers and I practically grew up in/around her daycare.. We would go and stay all summer and almost every day after school too.. When we lost our home and everything that we had.. Mrs. Debbie and Mr. Terry were there by our sides helping us just a few short days later.. One of my most cherished lessons from early on in life was taught to me by them.. And that was to always be myself.. And to not worry about what other people thought about me (or my funny toe socks..haha) I've carried that lesson with me all throughout my life.. And I've never forgotten the talks that they had with me when I was a child.. I was probably the oldest kid at the daycare.. So I guess she sort of treated me special.. She gave me a jewelry box with some of her jewelry still inside.. She told me it was hers when she was my age and wanted me to have it.. She.. Just.. Was always teaching me something new.. Whether it was about life.. Or about being myself.. My mind has been flooding with her memory these past couple of days.. If it weren't for her.. My mother would have had such a hard time.. She was just.. So loved.. And appreciated.. And funny.. She always made us all laugh.. We were all just children.. So innocent and so carefree.. All of us are grown adults now.. (I have a 5 year old daughter now) And all of this time has passed.. But my memories are still very picture perfect.. She will never be forgotten.. She was such a big part of my childhood.. And what a great childhood it was with her in it(:

Leroy & Jay,
I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. No words can erase the pain and hurt you are feeling at this moment. Just know she is not in pain anymore. She is reunited with Terry whom she loved with all her heart. I will continue to pray for you, Jay and the loved ones she left behind. Love you Leroy.
