Obituary of Barbara Lynn Goode

Funeral service for Ms. Barbara Lynn Goode, 74, of Lincoln will be Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 11:00 am at the chapel of Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega. Her family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7 PM at Usrey Funeral Home. Brother Jason Grissom and Katrina Upchurch will officiate and burial will follow in Dry Valley Cemetery in Lincoln. Ms. Goode passed away June 9, 2014 at her home. She was a native of Louisiana and a longtime resident of Lincoln. She was of the Baptist Faith. She retired from Speedmart Truck Stop where she was manager for more than 25 years. Her love and her life was in her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Renae Hurst (Johnny), Sissy Nichols (George), grandchildren, Kristin Harrell (Ron), Chase Mitchell (Crystal), Johnny Hurst (Kelli), great-grandchildren, Katie Harrell, Natalie Harrell, Parker Hurst, and Luke Mitchell. She is preceded in death by her parents, Melton and Camille Gough, and her sister, Frances Baum. Pallbearers will be Chase Mitchell, Johnny Hurst, George Nichols, Ron Harrell, Donald Hurst, and Donald Mitchell. Special Thanks to New Beacon Hospice, Sid Gambrell, Melissa People, David Deter and special family member Katrina Upchurch.
