Funeral service for James Curtis Watts, 71, of Munford will be Sunday, June 8, 2014 at 3:00 pm at Munford Church of Christ. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. His family will receive friends Sunday from 2-3 pm at the church. Usrey Funeral Home of Talladega will direct. Mr. Watts passed away June 5, 2014 at his home. He was a native of Talladega County and a Big Alabama Fan. He loved to farm and was a third generation saw miller. He retired from U.S. Pipe and his sons today continue with Watts Sawmill and Logging. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Curtis Watts and Mary Exa Clark Watts. He was a devoted husband, daddy and granddaddy. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Evelyn Foshee Watts, daughters Renee Watts Stone (Brad) of Munford, Tammy Watts McBurnett (Barry) of Lincoln, sons, Howard Curtis Watts (Pat) and Rodney James Watts (Leiah) both of Munford, sisters, Dorothy Lane, of Gadsden, Debra Champion (Shane) of Leeds, brothers, Larry Watts (Patsy), Phillip Watts, Rickey Watts (Teressa), Mike Watts (Sharon) all of Munford, grandchildren, Hannah McBurnett, Ethan McBurnett, Emily McBurnett, Tyler Watts, Victoria Stone, Caleb Watts, Harrison Stone, Caiden Watts Pallbearers will be Todd Watts, Craig Watts, Chad Watts, Gilbert “Bootsie” Lane, Judd Watts, Dylan Watts, Benjie Rollins, Jason Irvin, Kyle Studdard and Matt Humphries. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony Watts, Ethan McBurnett, Tyler Watts, Caleb Watts, Harrison Stone, and Caiden Watts. Special thank you to Oxford E.M.S., Lincoln Family Practice and Doctors, Mark and April Ponder.
