Obituary of Mary L. Mizzell

Mrs. Mary L. Mizzell, 79, of Pell City, Alabama passed away on March 3, 2019 in Pell City.

Mary graduated from Thomasville High School, where she was a member of Tri Hi Y and the Sub Deb Club, and went on to attend Huntington College in Montgomery. She was married to Earl Mizzell on November 29, 1958 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Thomasville, Georgia. After their honeymoon they settled in Birmingham, Alabama. She was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Cropwell. 

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon Estell.

She is survived by her husband, Earl. E. Mizzell; son, Everett Scott Mizzell (Deborah); brother, David Stillwell; grandchildren, Lillian and Kason Estell, Christopher,Jessie and Braydon Estell.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday March 7, 2019 at Usrey Funeral Home, Pell City, with the Rev. James Blair officiating. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
