Obituary of Marcus Clay Bannister Sr.

Munford – Marcus Clay Bannister Sr., 87, passed away on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Funeral services for Mr. Bannister will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 17, 2019 from 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park. Rev. Edward Michael Kessler will officiate the service.

Marcus served in the military in the Air Force for four years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Mr. Bannister is survived by his wife of 65 years, Patricia Ann Bannister; son, Marcus Clay Bannister Jr.; daughter, Lea Ann Coley (Tony); two grandchildren, Mandi Coley Kassler (Mike) and Scott Coley; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jimmie Sue Burns. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
