Gerald and I worked together at Q Records and met singing group Expose at an event. We had a great time.

I worked with Gerald at Ryko Distribution (2003-2007) and will always remember him as a very kind, funny and warm guy. We spent a lot of time together at our Ryko meetings in New Orleans which I know he really enjoyed every year for all the fun and insanity, but I'll keep those stories to myself. My sincere condolences to Gerald's family and friends. He's a legend in the music business and impacted countless people. Rest peacefully my friend.

My sincerest condolences to Gerald's family for your loss! I had the pleasure of working with Gerald at Ryko. I always looked forward to speaking with him and spending time with him, particularly at our annual convention in New Orleans. His kindness and sense of humor were second to none. Much love to you all at this difficult time.

I just found out about Gerald’s passing, I want to send my deepest sympathies to his family.
He was my boss at RyKo Distribution for about 8 years, and I will never forget him. A really funny guy (in a dead pan sort of way) who had a great love for music (and especially The Allman Brothers), FOOD (we shared a lot of great business lunches together), and he would get just as excited about the meals that we were about to have as well as the company that we shared during those times. He mentored me through those music industry years with grace and lots of wisdom.
Gerald will definitely be MISSED by all of us who worked with him at RYKO.
All of my best,
Dawn

"Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning. And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life. (Isaiah 26:19) This prophecy tells us that one day we will see our dead loved ones again in a new world! Imagine the relief of knowing you won't have to worry about death anymore and your loved ones will be brought back to life. So please seek Jehovah God to see his promises fulfilled....
