Obituary of Daniel Rhett Ball

Talladega – Daniel Rhett Ball, 85, of Talladega passed away January 17, 2019. His funeral service will be 11:00 am, Monday, January 21, 2019 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with John Whetstone officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to service.

Mr. Daniel was a native of Munford and lived most of his life in Talladega. He was a veteran of the Korean War, a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church and was retired from Pemco Aeroplex.

Daniel is survived by his wife of 63 years, Shirley Thompkins Ball; daughter, Angie Ball Walker; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Lynn Ball; grandson, David Scott Walker; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
