Obituary of Albert Ray Edwards

Mr. Albert Ray Edwards, 90, of Talladega, Alabama passed away on January 17, 2019 in Talladega.

Mr. Edwards was a member and former deacon of Cropwell Baptist Church. He was retired from Hayes Aircraft with over 40 years of service. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Nelda Burson and a son, Terry Edwards.

He is survived by his wife of over 67 years, Jean Edwards; daughter, Wanda Beckworth; son, Thomas Lynn Edwards; five grandchildren, Destin, Daniel and Derrick Beckworth, Chris Burson and Kelly Rowlett; nine great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold Edwards.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday January 26, 2019 at Cropwell Baptist Church with Mr. Bill Butterworth officiating. Interment will follow at Branchville Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday, January 26, 2019, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the church.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Cropwell Baptist Church Building Fund.
