Obituary of Edna Lau

We regret to announce that Edna Highfield Lau (82) passed away Tuesday, January 15th, 2019. Funeral service for Mrs. Lau will be on Friday, January 18, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Usrey Funeral Home. Interment will be at Pine Hill Memorial Park.

Edna was born in Talladega to the late Letha and Eamer Highfield. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her brother, Carlton Highfield; and her sister, Lynn Goodman. She is survived by her husband, Clarence (Mike) Lau; children, Vickie Myers, Connie Davis (James), and Arthur Lau (Galena); 1 grandson, 4 granddaughters, and 12 great-grandchildren; and her brothers, Jack Highfield and Gary Highfield. Edna was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
