Obituary of Robert Earl Smith

Robert “Bob” Earl Smith passed away January 2, 2019. His funeral service will be 3:00 pm, Friday, January 4, 2019 at Usrey Funeral Home in Talladega with Father Ben Turnage officiating. The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 pm until service time. Burial will follow at Pine Hill Memorial Park in Talladega.

Bob was born in Talladega and raised in Bemiston. He graduated in 1973 from Talladega High School, worked as a machinist at Soderham Manufacturing, he was a communications officer for the Talladega EMA and a shuttle driver for Honda Manufacturing of Alabama.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Janet Rauber Smith; sister, Virginia Ann Disspain of Lincoln, Al; brother, Carlton Smith of Vestavia; 3 nephews; 1 neice; several grandnieces and grandnephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Smith.

Pallbearers will be friends of Bobs.
