Obituary of Louise Grizzell Sterling

Mrs. Louise Grizzell Sterling, 90, of Ragland, Alabama had an invitation to Jesus’ birthday party.  She left a few days early on December 23, 2018 to go celebrate with her heavenly family.

She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church #2 in Ragland.  She served as song leader and choir director for many years.  She was retired from South Central Bell where she worked for over 30 years. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Sterling; parents, Jack and Lela Grizzell; brother, Herbert Grizzell; sister-in-law, Marcene Grizzell; niece, Teresa Bunt; and nephew, Jeremy Bunt. 

She is survived by Dennis (Brenda) Grizzell, Sue (Ricky) Day, Shelia (John) McKinney and family, Angel (Kevin) Trammell and family, DJ (Brittany) Grizzell and family, Chrystal (Rusty) St. John and family, Keith (Melissa) Day and family, Tabitha (Kevin) Surles and family, and Brittany (Cadet) Byars and family.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Ragland with Bro. Bryan Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at the church. 

Pallbearers will be Dennis Grizzell, DJ Grizzell, Austin Trammell, Keith Day, Rusty St. John, and Kevin Surles.  Nathan Trammell will serve as special pallbearer.
